Africa | Kenya | Lesotho | Malawi | Mozambique | South Africa | Swaziland | Tanzania | Zambia According to the World Health Organization, more than 300 million Africans lack access to safe drinking water, and millions die each year from preventable waterborne illnesses. Up to half of the region's population suffers from diseases related to unsafe drinking water and poor sanitation. Our goal is to help change that by bringing access to clean water to thousands of schools and communities across the continent. Water For All has donated water technologies to schools and communities and initiated water projects in 11 countries: South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Zambia, Lesotho, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zimbabwe and most recently, Uganda and Ethiopia. Water For All continually seeks out new country opportunities based on a number of factors, including: availability of funding, partnerships with other NGOs, and government participation.
