According to the World Health Organization, more than 300 million Africans lack access to safe drinking water, and millions die each year from preventable waterborne illnesses. Up to half of the region's population suffers from diseases related to unsafe drinking water and poor sanitation. Our goal is to help change that by bringing access to clean water to thousands of schools and communities across the continent.
Water For All is currently working in six core countries: South Africa, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi and Uganda. Together with its partners, Water For All has donated clean water technologies to schools and communities and initiated new water projects in those
countries plus five others: Swaziland, Mozambique, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, and Ethiopia.
